Equipment Maintenance Technician

Position
Description:
dpiX, LLC, the leader in amorphous silicon X-ray sensor manufacturing
and technology, is looking for pro-active, innovative and energetic
contributors to join our team.
Will
perform corrective and preventative maintenance on flat panel test
and Manufacturing equipment. Must be experienced in repair of flat
panel or semiconductor manufacturing equipment in some or all of
the following categories: Plasma deposition, plasma etch, metal
sputtering, wet chemical processing, photolithography, lasers, stepper
motors, linear/servo motors and robotics. Desirable manufacturing
equipment hands on experience on the following: LAM research, Applied
Technologies, Semitool, CFM, MRS, BOC Edwards, Leybold Sputters,
DNS, Tencor, KLA and Photon Dynamics. Must be able to trouble shoot
electrical/mechanical problems to root cause. Excellent written
and verbal communications skills are also a requirement. Requires
and AA/AS degree in electronics or equivalent related experience
as well as a minimum of three years of equipment maintenance experience
in a flat panel or semiconductor manufacturing environment.
Major
Responsibilities :
- Perform
corrective and preventative maintenance on flat panel manufacturing
equipment assigned.
- Works
as a team with peers, leads, process engineers, equipment engineers
and FAB technicians to maximize the effectiveness of dpiX manufacturing
equipment.
- Be
able to work with all hand tools, industrial and electrical tools
accurately and safely.
- Be
able to work in a clean room environment majority of the day.
- Will
work closely with Equipment Engineers to improve/enhance tool
performance through projects assigned.
- Will
work with MS Access to locate parts, stock parts and help maintain
proper levels of inventory.
Qualifications
Desired:
AA/AS degree in electronics or equivalent related experience. Minimum
of three years of equipment maintenance experience. Familiar with
AKT, LAM, MRS, SSI MS OS, MS Access, Workstream. PC skills required.
Must be able to work in a clean room environment the majority of
the shift.
