Description:
dpiX, LLC, the leader in amorphous silicon X-ray sensor manufacturing
and technology, is looking for a pro-active, innovative and energetic
contributor to join our Equipment Engineering team. Flat Panel/Semiconductor
Equipment Engineer in support of 24/7 flat Panel manufacturing operations.
This
position is a technician level position in our Colorado Springs
flat panel manufacturing group with dual responsibilities involving
running product as a lead manufacturing operator as well managing
and driving the Production Operator Certification program. The Operator
part of the job involves operating a variety of different types
of production fabrication equipment including etch, lithography,
metrology, and deposition types of equipment. Working under supervisor
guidance, you will process WIP through the fab in an efficient and
accurate manner ensuring on-time delivery of quality products to
our customers. The Training part of the job involves administration
and improvement of the existing dpiX operator training/certification
program to achieve cross-training goals and ensure ISO compliance
in this important area.
Major
Responsibilities:
- Tool
Operation - Operate the various types of manufacturing equipment
in the facility in a safe and effective manner.
- Operator
Training/Certification - Work with Production, Process Engineering,
Equipment Engineering and the Documentation Group to administer,
improve and manage the operator certification program.
- Engineering
Interface - Work with both engineering groups to help define and
execute engineering experiments on developmental product in the
fab.
- Team
Involvement - Function effectively and positively in a team environment
for job coverage and for problem solving
Qualifications
Desired:
This
position requires a minimum of a high school diploma. 1-3 years
of successful semiconductor fab or related experience is also required.
Previous successful training experience would be a plus. A positive
and professional team-oriented attitude is essential.
- Ability
to meticulously follow written and oral directions in a professional,
high-tech manufacturing environment.
- Ability
to understand and execute process engineering issues and directives
- Good
communication skills are required
- Ability
and willingness to work in a clean room environment with well
defined clean room gowning and 'street clothes' safety related
dress code protocols.
- Capability
and willingness to report to work reliably in a small team environment
that depends on all team members to be present.
- Ability
to work within established company safety guidelines.
- Willingness
to work overtime as required.
- Ability
to lift up to 35 lbs periodically during the work shift.
