Job Title:
Process Engineer

Location:
Colorado Springs, CO

Position Description:
The responsibilities of Process Engineers are to ensure movement of product through their module and to improve manufacturing stability, capacity and yield. They will also support new product development and improve existing product quality and performance by developing new process recipes and manufacturing methods.

Depending on company needs, Process Engineers are also required to learn about and support other process areas and to lead or direct the work of other individuals and teams.

Additionally, Process Engineers will be required to lead regular process area cell teams to resolve technical problems in their process area.

Major Responsibilities :

  • Define requirements for short and long term production needs.
  • Define hardware requirements for rework and repair and develop appropriate process flows as allowed by quality/reliability constraints.
  • Manage integration of cluster tool to achieve manufacturing capacity requirements.
  • Tool characterization, gauge studies, improvement of Cp/Cpk.
  • OCAP's for process parameters, trend chart violations and return to productions qualification failures.
  • Trouble shoot problem lots.
  • Layout of tool and cell area for efficiency and safety.
  • Provide assistance in training new personnel in the work cell.
  • Work closely with integration engineering on new process development.
  • Operator training and operator safety.
  • Create and manage and support projects to improve processes, cycle time, capacity and/or yield
  • Support other modules (customers and suppliers) and new product/process development

Qualifications Desired:
BS degree in engineering or physics and 3- 5 years experience. New college grads considered. Have good computer skills. Good analytic and communication skills. F/A experience a plus.
