Position
Description:
dpiX, LLC, the leader in amorphous silicon X-ray sensor manufacturing
and technology, is looking for a proactive, innovative and energetic
contributor to join our team. The Test Operator position involves
operating a variety of different types of test equipment in our
Colorado Springs flat panel fabrication facility. These will include
probers, scribers, inspection, and laser repair types of equipment.
Working under supervisor guidance, you will process WIP through
the test area in an efficient and accurate manner ensuring on-time
delivery of quality products to our customers. Activities that take
place in the test area include electrical testing, inspecting, and
laser repairing of flat panel substrates in a production environment.
This
position is in a clean room environment requiring semiconductor
clean room gowning and clean room protocol and ESD protocol. Some
positions involve working near hazardous chemicals using proper
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Major
Responsibilities:
- Tool
Operation - Operate various types of flat panel test equipment
such as probers and laser repair equipment in a safe and effective
manner.
- Data
Tracking/Recording - Record and track metrology and test related
information using computer systems.
- Team
Involvement - Function effectively and positively in a team environment
for job coverage and for problem solving.
Qualifications
Desired:
- Ability
to meticulously follow written and oral directions in a professional,
high-tech manufacturing environment.
- Good
Communication skills are required.
- Ability
and willingness to work in a clean room environment with well
defined clean room gowning and 'street clothes' safety related
dress code protocols.
- Capability
and willingness to report to work reliably in a small team environment
that depends on all team members to be present.
- Ability
to work within established company safety guidelines.
- Ability
to lift up to 35 lbs periodically during the work shift.
- Willingness
to work overtime as required.
This
position requires a minimum of a high school diploma. 1-3 years
of successful semiconductor fab or related experience would be a
plus. A positive and professional team-oriented attitude is essential.
