Quality/ISO Manager

Position
Description:
dpiX, LLC, the leader in amorphous silicon X-ray sensor manufacturing
and technology, is looking for a pro-active, innovative and energetic
contributor to join our team as a Quality/ISO Manager.
Major
Responsibilities:
- Manage
the implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the ISO compliant
quality management system.
- Manage
one or more Quality Engineers, and manage the internal audit program
of the QMS, EMS, ISO standards and other quality related processes.
Responsible for training auditors, scheduling and coordinating
all internal and external audit activities in these areas.
Define and perform audits on fabrication processes and other processes
used at dpiX. Using audit information, SPC and other data, initiate
reports, lead teams to execute corrective action plans, update
procedures and training as necessary for quality improvement and
ISO conformance.
- Primary
owner for the CAR/PAR system, calibration system and other systems
as assigned.
- Interface
with Operations, Engineering and other personnel to ensure that
quality objectives are met. Develop metrics and monitor performance.
- Implements
standards, methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, sampling
and evaluating the product quality, operational control and company
processes. Analyzes SPC and other Engineering and Production data
to prioritize and implement pro-active quality improvement activities.
Coordinate with other dpiX functions such as Product, Design,
Process, Test, Reliability Engineering, Customer Support, Manufacturing,
other Quality personnel, and Customer's as needed to identify,
understand, and address product and process quality issues.
- Coordinate
with Purchasing and vendors to address vendor quality issues.
- Perform
FMEAs, participate in design reviews, technical review board and
other activities as assigned or required by the position.
Qualifications
Desired:
Bachelor's
degree, MS or equivalent. 8 yrs experience in a combination of Quality
Management, and Quality or Process Engineering in semi-conductor
industry. ISO 9001 expert knowledge, training and certification
experience, ISO Internal Auditor 3 yrs. minimum, ISO 14001 knowledge
a plus. MS Office suite, heavy excel, jmp is a plus, reliasoft or
relex is a plus.
